Ø     Idle Mode Signaling Reduction(ISR)

Ø     Dual Sim Dual Stand By(DSDS)

      Description  : The Library for UE initialization, MMM, CMM and GMM modules                

      design, implementation and testing for DSDS protocol stack for 2G and 2.5G      

      solution. With single RF and single baseband, the two protocols stacks running in

      parallel and managing synchronization between RR and NAS modules.        

 

·         CMM (Circuit Switched Mobility Management) and GMM (GPRS Mobility Management): The suspension and resumption of CMM and GMM module in case of CS call or CS sig on the other stack and CS/PS sig and CS/PS call on the other stack for DSDS cases respectively.

 

·         MMM (Mobility Management Manager) : The suspension and resumption of CMM and GMM and handling of user request for DSDS cases.

 

·         LIBINT : The libint holds all the details of  the EEPROM field for the mono

                SIM UE, so duplication of EEPROM fields for the duplicated stack and access,

                  modification and updating of corresponding EPROM fields for the duplicated

                  modules of the stack.

 

Ø     Duplication Script for DSDS

      Description     : The duplication script duplicates the entire original module with

      unique names for global variables, functions and imported modules functions and

      variables. Creates exact replica of the original module and verifies the duplication with

      original module statistics. Intern script is ported for the different platform.

 

 

Ø     Virtual Ethernet Protocol(Vetherpro)

     Description       : The design, implementation, host and target testing of Vetherpro

      module. The UE connected to host using USB, acts as DHCP server and Router in LAN.

     The UE assigns IP to the PC using DHCP after PDP context activation. Resolves the

      ARP queries and manages the uplink and downlink data transfer with Zero Memory

      copy.  RFC’s: 2131 and 826.

 

 

Ø     Dual Mode Wireless Protocol Stack

      Description       : Rel-99 to Rel-4 Protocol stack feature development,

      enhancement & bug fixing Module ownership of Call Control, Short message service,

      Supplementary service, Mobility Management, GPRS Mobility Management, Library

      for UE initialization, General utility function.

 

·                       Video Share Supplementary service: A call dependent SS, which allows sharing of Picture and video during voice call.

 

·                       User-User Service: A call dependent SS, Which allows transfer of limited text message during call. UUS 1, 2, 3 feature design, development and testing.

 

·                       Enhancement of NAS-CP Modules for the 3G Protocol layer on the MS for Samsung, CMCC and Nokia.

           desired in the NAS-CP modules of the NAS layer, study the 3GPP Specifications

·                       OOSA recovery mechanism from Access Stratum to Non Access Stratum

           The OOSA coverage recovery timers and their algorithm that is generally there

in the AS was to be moved to NAS. Involved in the study to propose the initial

design, implement the algorithms and functionality in NAS.

 

·                       Implementation of the storage and access to EEPROM, for Poland’s PLAY

           Implementation, testing and validation of Write and Read mechanism for the AS

           and NAS to EEPROM through library initialization module.

      Description     : The IAS in IRDA stack stores the local machines object information,

      the remote IAS information whenever client makes request for it. When remote

      machine makes query for IAS information on that IAP act as server to the peer entity.

IrLMP makes it possible to support walk-up ad-hoc connections between devices.

     Description    : Writing conformance test cases for RLC/MAC by reading

     Description        : The objective is develop Generic interface for the packet allocation

      and de-allocation. This provides zero memory copy concept for the protocol stacks.

      This framework is applies to data plane of the protocol stack.

      Description      : The GMM Network Simulator is GPRS mobility management layer

      that supports the mobility of the user terminal and provides services such as identifying

      location of user terminal, providing user identity confidentiality, registering the user
